Directorate of Student Affairs, University of Home Economics, Lahore, organized an informative Traffic Awareness Seminar to educate students about essential traffic rules, road safety measures, and responsible driving practices.
The event was graced by Ms. Hina Pervaiz Butt, MPA and Chairperson, Women Protection Authority, who joined the session and appreciated UHE’s efforts in arranging such a meaningful and much-needed awareness program for female students. SSP Sadar Division, Dr. Fahad Ahmad, Incharge Education City Traffic Police Ms. Fehmida Zeeshan, and other education officers from city traffic police also joined the event.
Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-nisa Hussain warmly welcomed the chief guests and acknowledged the Punjab Government’s initiatives aimed at promoting safety and awareness among citizens, especially women.
A special highlight of the event was the availability of the Pink Van Facility, offering on-spot services for female students including; Learning license issuance, Driving license information and License renewal assistance. UHE continues its commitment to providing safe, educational, and empowering opportunities for young women.

The University of Home Economics is going to organise an International Seminar on Smart Foods, Green future. The delegates of seven countries including Germany, Türkiye, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and Azerbaijan are attending the international seminar.

In celebration of Ashra Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (26-08-2025 to 04-09-2025), the Directorate of Student Affairs at the University of Home Economics hosted an inspiring series of events, including a Naat Competition, Calligraphy Competition, Seerat Seminar, and Debate Competition. These activities empowered students to reflect on the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) while showcasing their talents and creativity, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth.
