NHLD is grateful for hosting a seminar on 'Human Rights, Business, and Faith: to Exploring the Critical Intersections Shaping Pakistan's Future'. Dr. Sikander Shah, Associate Professor, SAHSOL, LUMS, highlighted the legal challenges facing religious minorities and proposed policy reforms to address economic barriers, emphasizing the need for both legislative action and social transformation. Mr. Gregory G. Clark and Dr. Christina J. Clark from the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation demonstrated the powerful correlation between religious freedom and economic prosperity, sharing evidence that inclusive business environments drive innovation while supporting minority rights.
The discussions revealed how protecting religious freedoms creates a virtuous cycle: inclusive societies foster economic growth, which in turn strengthens rights protections. We look forward to continuing these important conversations and implementing the practical strategies shared by our speakers.
