A special program was organized at Bank Road Campus to celebrate Youm-e-Marka e Haq in which students enthusiastically participated in various activities. The event included performances, speeches and national songs that captured the attention of the audience. The students also conducted an awareness campaign to highlight the importance of the day, national unity, and the sacrifices of the armed forces. The main purpose of the event was to promote patriotism, unity, and national awareness among the younger generation.

Special Ceremony in memory of Allama Muhammad Iqbal

A meaningful event was organized at Bank Road Campus in memory of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, in accordance with the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The aim was to highlight Iqbal’s philosophy and inspire students to follow his vision. The program was held in a calm and pleasant atmosphere. A speech competition was organized by the Urdu Essay and Debating Society, where students shared Iqbal’s ideas in a simple and clear manner. This was followed by a melodious presentation of Kalam-e-Iqbal, which added beauty to the program. An engaging Bait Bazi competition, organized by the Urdu Shair-o-Sukhan Society, further created interest, where students participated actively and showed their love for Iqbal’s poetry.

A special lecture was delivered by the Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen (Director, Institute of Urdu Language and Literature, PU Lahore), who shared valuable insights on Iqbal’s thought in relation to the character building of students, especially the younger generation. She emphasized strong moral values, self-awareness, and a clear sense of purpose. Her lecture was inspiring and left a lasting impact on the audience. At the end, the respected Principal thanked the guest speaker for her presence and insightful talk, appreciated her efforts in student guidance, and encouraged the office of Incharge Student Affairs to arrange more such programs. Certificates were then distributed among the participants, and the event concluded on a positive and motivating note.

Activity Report: Interfaith Harmony & Countering Extremism Through Education

An awareness session on Interfaith Harmony and Countering Extremism through Education was conducted at the university of Education , Bank Road Campus Lahore with the aim of promoting peace, tolerance, and mutual respect among students from diverse backgrounds. The students actively participated in a variety of engaging activities throughout the session. In the “Peace Wall” activity, they expressed their thoughts by writing messages about unity, harmony, and respect. During the “My Identity” group discussion, students shared their cultural and religious identities, which helped in building understanding and appreciation of diversity. They also designed informative brochures to spread awareness about interfaith harmony and the role of education in preventing extremism. A Human “H” formation was created by the students to symbolize harmony and unity. In addition, an awareness campaign was conducted in which students shared positive messages of peace and tolerance with others. Overall, the session was interactive and meaningful, encouraging students to adopt values of acceptance, dialogue, and education for a more peaceful society.
