Beaconhouse National University proudly recognizes Dr. Maheen Abid Ali, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Psychology, BNU, for her publication titled “Personality Traits and Cyberchondria: Investigating the Mediating Role of Rumination among Women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.”
The study found significant relationships between extraversion, rumination, and cyberchondria, with rumination emerging as a key psychological factor linking personality traits such as conscientiousness, agreeableness, and neuroticism to cyberchondria. By addressing an important gap in psychological and women’s health research, the study contributes valuable insights toward understanding emotional and cognitive experiences in women with PCOS and offers implications for developing targeted therapeutic interventions and mental health support strategies.
We congratulate Dr. Maheen Abid Ali on this remarkable academic achievement and her continued contribution to meaningful research and psychological well-being.
