Encouraging young storytellers to dream, imagine, and create! 📚✨

SICAS Liberty Campus recently organized a Story Writing Competition for students of Grades 3–5, aimed at fostering creativity and nurturing a love for reading and writing among our young learners.

Through original storytelling and imaginative ideas, students explored a variety of themes while showcasing their creativity, language skills, and confidence in self-expression. 🌟

After careful evaluation based on creativity, originality, and presentation, five outstanding entries were selected by the judges. We applaud all participants for their enthusiasm and effort, and extend special congratulations to our winners! 👏

SICAS DHA is delighted to share that Afaf Zaheer has secured offers to read Business from University of Essex, University of Strathclyde, Loughborough University, University of Sussex, and Heriot-Watt University Dubai — a testament to both her capability and commanding beyond-the-classroom presence.

Vivacious, confident, and never hesitant to speak her mind, Afaf has long stood out as a student leader able to combine personality with performance. As Event Head for the most recent SICAS DHA TEDx edition, she played a central role in logistics, shortlisting, event coordination, and on-ground operations — ably helping steer a flagship School event. She also essayed a key role in Depiction, another SICAS DHA calendar highlight centred around inter-school creative arts and media.

With Business now ahead, Afaf’s university journey feels less like a surprise and more like a natural progression for a student so comfortable leading from the front. And onwards she goes!
