If you are coming to UK for work/job , which skills you should work on ??
IV cannula and taking bloods !!
It is very basic thing and in many countries we are not good at it because mostly nurses are doing it .
But in Uk you are expected to do/know these basic things even at consultant level ,
But there is always help and support , if you are not good at it .
You don’t have to be pro but at-least should be able to do these things!
I will share few things on my story.

⛳️ Do we get sick leaves while working in NHS UK?
🎯Yes , we do , it is separate to your annual leave !
🎯If you fell off sick ( flu, cold, unwell for any reason) , you can take time off and that wouldn’t effect your entitled leaves!
🎯If you fell off sick on your off days/ annual leaves , than you can always claim back those annual leaves /off days!
🎯These are paid leaves! Unless you go on long term sickness than rules are slightly different!
🎯They don’t judge you for taking sickness leaves!
🎯Than there are other kind of leaves as well Bereavement leave /emergency leave / Maternity leave / paternity Leave etc
