After being trained in Calcutta (Loretto House) and working in Delhi, Mr. Manzur Qadir's Nursery for special children on Lawrence Road. By early 1950's the Alam family had re-located it to the large striking colonial residence on Upper Mall. These ideal premises, with a spacious front garden, offered Mrs. Alam the chance to begin her own school: the school she inventively called Toddler's Academy.
