Dr. Humera Faraz (Assistant Professor and Manager Corpus Research Center at Air University was the guest speaker. The session provided valuable insights into the application of Corpus linguistics highlighting its role in data analysis, and research efficiency. The session was attended by MPhil scholars of Linguistics along with faculty members from the department. The advisor MPhil Program, Dr Afsheen Ekhteyar concluded the session. Day 2: Workshop on “Python in Linguistic Research” concluded successfully today at NUML Lahore Campus under the guidance of Mr. Salahuddin. The session focused on the application of Python in modern linguistic research, including data analysis and corpus studies. MPhil Linguistics scholars actively participated under the supervision of Dr. Afsheen Ekhtyar. The Head of Department, Dr. Faiqa, also interacted with the students and encouraged them to adopt innovative research methods. The workshop was an insightful and enriching learning experience for all participants.

The session provided valuable insights into the application of Python in contemporary linguistic studies, highlighting its role in data analysis, corpus linguistics, and research efficiency. MPhil scholars of Linguistics actively participated in the workshop under the supervision of Dr. Afsheen Ekhtyar, demonstrating keen interest and engagement throughout the session. The Head of Department, Dr. Faiqa, also addressed the participants and interacted with the students, offering encouragement and motivated them to explore innovative research approaches.
