OBITUARY

With great sorrow, the Institute of Information Management, PU, Lahore, PU, community mourns the passing of Prof. Dr. Sajjad Ur Rehman, an eminent alumnus, distinguished academic, and a towering figure in the field of Library and Information Management.

Dr. Sajjad Ur Rehman served the department as a Lecturer & Associate Professor (1979 - 1989) and as Editor of various pioneering publications published under Punjab University Library Science Alumni Association (PULSAA), hence making valuable contributions to teaching, research, and the advancement of the profession.

On behalf of IIM, Prof-Shafiq Ur Rehman (Director IIM), the Faculty and Staff, We pay tribute to his valuable contributions in the field of Library Sciences and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and students. May ALLAH Almighty grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength and patience to his loved ones during this difficult time.
