📍 **Educational Visits for PLT Participants**
GITTC organized two insightful educational visits for the participants of the Promotion-Linked Training (PLT) to enhance their practical understanding of public service institutions and specialized educational setups.
🔹 **Punjab Saaf Pani Authority (PSPA)**
At PSPA, participants were briefed on the core functioning of the authority, which focuses on providing safe drinking water across Punjab. They learned how the organization plans, develops, and monitors water supply schemes, ensures water quality testing, and works on sustainable water management systems. The participants also observed how data-driven monitoring systems and field operations are coordinated to improve public health outcomes. This visit helped them understand the importance of clean water initiatives in improving community well-being and reducing waterborne diseases.
🔹 **Hamza Foundation – Academy of Hearing-Impaired Children**
At the Hamza Foundation, participants were introduced to the specialized educational environment designed for hearing-impaired children. They learned about the institution’s teaching methodologies, including sign language instruction, speech therapy, and individualized learning plans. The visit highlighted how trained educators and therapists work together to support communication development, confidence building, and inclusive learning. Participants also observed classroom activities and assistive learning tools used to enhance student engagement and accessibility.
These visits provided valuable hands-on exposure to real-world institutional functioning, bridging the gap between theoretical training and practical application. Participants gained a deeper appreciation of how public service organizations and specialized educational institutions operate to serve diverse community needs effectively.
