*From Punjab to the World: TEVTA & TANG International Extend Dual Diploma Program Collaboration on World Youth Skills Day*
On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, a milestone for the TVET sector, TEVTA Punjab welcomed a TANG China International Delegation comprising Mr. Li Jinsong (President & Founder, TANG International Education Group, China), Mr. Song Jianying (CEO, TANG International Education Group, Pakistan), and Mr. Vincent Que (CEO, China Global Professional & Technical Certification Centre, China) at the TEVTA Secretariat, Lahore.
TEVTA Punjab, through Chairman TEVTA Brig. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar SI(M), Retd., and Mr. Li Jinsong signed an MoU for the extension of collaboration under the CCTE Model Sino-Pak Dual Diploma Vocational & Technical Joint Education Program. The initial MoU was signed in 2021 under the CCTE 2+1 Model, under which students complete two years of academic study in Pakistan followed by one year of specialized study and practical training in China on a scholarship basis. Under this collaboration, the Dual Diploma Initiative is already running successfully across four technologies.
Discussions were also held on new areas of collaboration, including the proposed Intelligent Construction Technology program and the establishment of a Meteorological Promotion Training Base, along with its implementation roadmap. Chairman TEVTA also expressed keen interest in expanding the Dual Diploma Program to more technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Elevator Engineering Technology, HVACR & Modern Agriculture Technology, and Precision Technology, among others.
While talking, President TANG International said that Chairman TEVTA has excellent plans for the betterment of the TVET sector. Moreover, he said that in line with government policies, they will continue working together to further strengthen the TVET sector.
