✨ CPD Workshop Highlight ✨
The LSBS organized a CPD Workshop on “Introduction to Research and Publication Landscape” on 26th February 2026 for MS and MPhil Psychology students.
The session was conducted as part of a seven-day Research Training Series organized by Dr. Nazish Idrees, Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology, through collaborative efforts with Mr. Nadeem Iqbal, Assistant Professor, Aviation Department. The workshop introduced students to the fundamentals of academic research, scholarly writing, and navigating the research publication landscape.
The guest speaker was presented with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of their valuable knowledge sharing, accompanied by a sincere note of thanks for contributing to the academic and professional development of the students.

The Lahore School of Behavioral Sciences (LSBS) conducted the Viva Voce for Spring 2023 MS Clinical Psychology and Fall 2023 MPhil Applied Psychology students on Tuesday, 03 March 2026.

✨ CPD Workshop Highlight ✨
The LSBS organized a CPD Workshop on “Psychological Assessment and Case Formulation in Children and Adolescents” on 19th February 2026 for MS clinical students. The session was conducted by Ms. Maria Ishtiaq, Behavioural Therapist at Pak Red Crescent Medical and Dental College and Teaching Hospital, who highlighted evidence-based assessment techniques and the importance of comprehensive case formulation from a developmental and biopsychosocial perspective. The workshop was moderated by Ms. Urooj Abbas, followed by a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Dr. Shamaila Asad, and was organized under the supervision of Mr. Abdus Samad Zaman, making it an enriching academic experience that strengthened clinical competencies and enhanced professional growth in child and adolescent mental health practice.

The LSBS Department successfully conducted the Viva Voce for BS Psychology (Bridging), Session Fall 2023–2026 on 17th & 18th February, marking a significant academic milestone for the cohort.
Sincere appreciation was extended to the distinguished External Examiners Ms. Mahira Ahmad, (Assistant Professor, Kinnaird College), Ms. Zuhaa Hassan (Lecturer, IVY Management Sciences College / PhD Scholar, Punjab University) and Ms. Aleen Fatima (Senior Lecturer & HOD, Azra Naheed Medical College, Lahore). Their comprehensive evaluation, constructive feedback, and valuable academic insights greatly enriched the students’ research experience.
Special recognition was given to the Research Cell for their meticulous coordination and dedicated efforts in ensuring a smooth and academically rigorous process.

The Clinical Placement Final Viva for Child and Adult Case Reports was successfully conducted by Dr. Nazish Idrees (Incharge, Clinical Placement Cell), alongside a committed and dynamic team members. Our esteemed external examiners truly poured their heart and soul into mentoring and identifying the evolving needs of our future clinicians, while appreciating the trainees’ hard work and growth.
