23rd April 2026 - Inauguration of Center for Space Science & Astronomy and Star Gazing Night

The University of Management and Technology proudly inaugurated the UMT Centre for Space Science & Astronomy (CSSA) with an inspiring Stargazing Night held at UMT Greens on 23rd April 2026.
The event brought together distinguished guests, faculty members, students, and astronomy enthusiasts to celebrate the launch of a new platform dedicated to space science, astronomical research, innovation, and scientific outreach.
The inauguration ceremony featured insightful addresses by renowned guests and academic leaders, including an inspiring speech by Mr. Roshan Bukhari, President of the Lahore Astronomical Society, who highlighted the growing importance of astronomy outreach, scientific learning, and public engagement in space sciences. The audience also appreciated the valuable remarks delivered by Mr. Muhammad Ali, emphasizing curiosity-driven learning and youth participation in astronomy and space exploration. 🌠
