We are proud to celebrate the innovation of our biotechnology department's BS students, who have successfully developed CharBoost under the expert supervision of Dr. Ammara Masood.
CharBoost is an innovative, rice husk-based biochar engineered to naturally enhance soil productivity. Featuring a highly porous structure, it significantly improves water retention, fosters beneficial soil microorganisms, and promotes sustainable crop growth. By transforming agricultural waste into a high-value soil amendment, this project exemplifies the power of circular economy principles and contributes directly to a greener, more resilient agricultural future.
Congratulations to our student scientists on this outstanding achievement in climate-smart innovation and agricultural research.
