I recently had the pleasure of visiting the University of Management and Technology as a guest speaker to lecture on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The highlight of the experience was witnessing UMT’s commitment to an inclusive campus. With a significant number of students with hearing impairments in attendance, the presence of a skilled interpreter ensured that communication was seamless. Meaningful inclusion happens when we proactively break down barriers to education. Proud to have been part of this dialogue.
