DAY 2 GLIMPSES | Session 2| The Creators’ Summit 2026 ..
Day 2 Session 2 of The Creators’ Summit 2026 at the Department of Communication and Media Research, SCS, PU continued with energy, creativity, and inspiring discussions that encouraged students to think beyond limits and create meaningful impact.
The seminar “Act for Impact” was honoured by the presence of Prof. Dr. Noshina Saleem (Chairperson, DCMR), Mr. Naeem Wazir (Drama & Film Writer), Mr. Usama Gazi( Senior TV Anchor), Mr. Usama Tayyab ( Program Anchor & podcast Host), Dr. Tanveer Labar ( Assistant Prof DCMR/Co-organizer), Mr. Irtaza Baqir (President of Dramatic Society PU), Ms. Afshar Shakoor Butt (Former President of Dramatic Society PU) and Mr. Ahsan Kamray ( Organizer/ Course Instructor) along with other respected guests who made the session more inspiring and insightful.
A monologue theater play by Alishba Naz was also the part of the session.

The seminar “Zero to Hero: The Rise of Digital Creators” inspired students to believe in their potential, embrace challenges, and transform their passion into purpose. CONDOLENCE:
Mr Altaf Hassan Qureshi was a towering figure in the field of diversified journalism in Pakistan and remained throughout his life a shining symbol of nobility, wisdom and decency.
Speaking here today at a condolence reference organised at the Department of Communication and Media Research, SCS, PU, Prof.Dr. Noshina Saleem paying rich tributes on Altaf Hussain Qureshi's journalistic services spanned several decades during which he earned immense respect for his principled stance, intellectual honesty and unwavering commitment to truth.
He upheld the highest standards of professional ethics in his Urdu Digest and never compromised on the values of integrity, impartiality and responsible journalism. His columns and writings reflected deep insight into national affairs and provided constructive guidance to society, political leadership and intellectual circles.
Through his thought provoking articles and analysis, he played a remarkable role in strengthening democratic traditions, supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law in Pakistan. He consistently advocated tolerance, dialogue and national unity while discouraging extremism, intolerance and political polarization. His pen always served the cause of justice, democratic continuity and institutional stability.
