لیلۃ القدر (عبادت اور نیکی) ہزار مہینوں (کی متواتر عبادت اور نیکی) سے بہتر ہے۔ (یعنی اسے بھی زائد ہے) ۔

شب قدر کا وظیفہ
حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے رسالتمآب صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے عرض کیا کہ شب قدر کا کیا وظیفہ ہونا چاہئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان الفاظ کی تلقین فرمائی:

اللهم انک عفو تحب العفو فاعف عنی.

اے اللہ تو معاف کر دینے والا اور معافی کو پسند فرمانے والا ہے پس مجھے بھی معاف کر دے۔
