Many students want to know how Math and Stats are related and unrelated to each other?
Statistics is related to mathematics in several ways. First, statistical methods are based on mathematical concepts such as probability, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. These concepts are used to make inferences about populations based on sample data.
Second, many statistical procedures rely on mathematical models to describe the relationships between variables. For example, linear regression is a mathematical model used to describe the relationship between two continuous variables.

However, statistics is not just a branch of mathematics.
