Under the visionary guidance of Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad, Principal, Hailey College of Commerce, and Prof. Dr. Hafiz Zafar Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Commerce, University of the Punjab, continue to nurture industry-driven talent by bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world business practices.
In line with this vision, Madam Mariyam Mustafa Butt led students of the Principles of Marketing course at Hailey College of Commerce on an insightful industrial tour to Interwood.
During the visit, students explored how Interwood builds its brand through innovative product design, customer experience, and effective retail strategies. Witnessing the company’s manufacturing excellence and automation processes in action provided practical understanding of concepts such as work specialization and division of labour. Discussions on target segments, value proposition, lean production, and finance further enabled students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world business performance.
The tour offered a valuable learning experience, helping students gain deeper insight into modern industrial operations and marketing practices.
Special thanks to the Interwood Mobel team for warmly hosting our students, guiding them through their operations, and thoughtfully answering their questions.
