This gentleman in the circled photo is Dr Abdul Aziz al-Hajj. This man is often seen in prayer in the Masjid Haram 🕋 in Makkah, and he is every day behind the imams.
He corrects the imams in the state of forgetfulness or defect of the verses for the imams.
Know that this person stands behind the imam and does not know which chapter the imam will read or which verse he will read, but he is easily correct the imam if the imam recites incorrectly.
He memorized the entire Qur'an and every ayant of it precisely in his brain. This position is a noble position that requires full monitoring and attention during prayer.
- This person is one of those whom Allaah has chosen to recite and govern his holy book.
May Allaah grant us and our generations the grace of preserving the Quran and make it easy for us to implement it!
Ameen.
