Try roasting Brussels sprouts with a drizzle of olive oil or incorporating kale into hearty soups.
Citrus Fruits:
While citrus fruits like oranges, grapefruits, and mandarins are typically associated with summer, they are actually in season during winter. These fruits are rich in vitamin C, which is crucial for immune system function. Enjoy them as a snack, in salads, or freshly squeezed as a morning juice.

Butternut squash, acorn squash, and pumpkin are not only delicious but also packed with nutrients. They are excellent sources of vitamins A and C, potassium, and fiber. Roast them, blend into soups, or use them as a base for stews to add both flavor and nutrition to your winter meals.
Nuts and Seeds:
As the temperature drops, our bodies often crave heartier snacks. Nuts like almonds, walnuts, and seeds like chia and flaxseeds are rich in healthy fats, omega-3 fatty acids, and protein. Sprinkle them over oatmeal, yogurt, or salads for a satisfying crunch and a nutrient boost.
