The Editorial Team of Forman Journal of Social Sciences is happy to share that they have received accreditation yet again this year for the period 2024-2025 by the Higher Education Commission.

The journal is listed in 'Y' category and under the HEC journal recognition system (HJRS).
FJSS is also one of the few journals in Pakistan which does not charge article processing or publication fees, while observing all the requirements and standards of the international Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)

The sudden transition from physical to online classes during Covid-19 Pandemic was a hard pill to swallow for many students around the world. Developing countries like Pakistan had their own challenges in terms of limited internet connectivity issues in many areas. This coupled with many other issues faced by students taking online classes had an adverse effect on the students’ motivation to improve their academic performance. Intrinsic motivation helped students in coping with the circumstances beyond their control. FJSS welcomes you to read this pertinent research published in the June Issue 2024.

Infertility is a condition affecting many women around the globe. It affects not just the marital relations of couples but in traditional societies like Pakistan, it is directly associated with the worth of a married woman. Therefore, the mental toll that infertile women bear needs to be highlighted and maladaptive coping strategies must be replaced to improve their quality of life. Covid-19 Pandemic was a turning point for people from almost all walks of life. The subsequent shutdowns severely impacted the academic paths of the students who had to transition urgently from a well-established face-to-face mode of instruction to online education. Higher life satisfaction during this transition was associated with lower stress levels and religion played a significant role in this relationship.
