Ms Nayab Jan is an entrepreneur, an activist and a journalist. She currently heads Business Development and External Relations at Community Support Concern- a microfinance company that extends enterprise development loans to low income women. The company currently has an active client base of 40,000
female entrepreneurs. Apart from her role at CSC, she partners with various organisations and media outlets to raise awareness on women’s issues, children’s rights, religious freedom and tolerance, and youth related issues. Nayab was also the host of a current affairs based morning show on AAP television.
She routinely appears on different tv and digital platforms to speak on various social issues. She makes vlogs for several progressive digital media platforms that receive wide engagement on social media.

Speaker Profile:
Barrister Mohammad Ahmad Qayyum is a leading advocate based in Lahore.
He has more than 17 years experience in the profession with many reported judgments. He is a third generation lawyer and is the managing partner of Qayyum & Associates with his father Justice (R) Malik Muhammad Qayyum. He was the secretary of the Lahore High Court Bar Association and takes a deep interest in the education of new entrants into the profession. Not only has he got extensive teaching experience at the Punjab University Law College and the Institute of Legal Studies, but he has also pioneered the Lectures program at the LHCBA and now at the Lahore Bar. Among his extra-curricular activities he has written extensively in newspapers and has been one the leading music critics in the Daily News.
He has been educated in three educational systems, being a gold medalist at Aitchison College Lahore and then doing his BA in Economics Political Science from Columbia University, USA. He did his law from St. John’s College Oxford and thereafter was called to Bar at Lincoln’s Inn after doing his BVC from Inn’s of Court School of Law, London.
