MashaAllah, Alhamdulillah! 🌟
Another proud milestone for the Applied Botany Lab, Department of Botany, Government College University Lahore 🎉
A new patent has been accepted by IPO Pakistan on 30th January 2026—heartfelt congratulations to Zohaib 🎓, BS graduate research student, who designed and executed this research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tehreema Iftikhar (GCU Lahore) and co-supervision of Dr. Hammad Majeed (UMT Lahore, Sialkot Campus).
Muhammad Zohaib is a well-organized, dedicated, and hardworking student, and this achievement reflects his commitment to quality research.
It is important to highlight that research design must be an integral part of academic research, rather than limiting efforts to routine synopsis-writing practices. The higher education sector needs a stronger focus on outcome-based research alongside theses, and genuine, impact-oriented research outputs deserve to be appreciated loudly and proudly.
Well done to the inventors’ team!
Prof. Dr. Tehreema Iftikhar
Dr. Hammad Majeed
Muhammad Zohaib
Adding to this excellence, his BS research paper is already published in a W-Platinum journal (Impact Factor 6.2, Q1 rank)—a true testament to impactful research and innovation.
May Allah continue to bless our team with success, knowledge, and barakah, and may this achievement inspire many more breakthroughs ahead. 🤲✨
