Heartiest congratulations to the Principal College of Physiotherapy, KEMU on achieving an important academic and administrative milestone.

With the continuous efforts, dedication, and follow-up of Dr. Nighat Ansar, and her team, along with the valuable support and efforts of Prof. Dr. Abrar Ashraf, Dean Allied Health Sciences, it has now been officially approved in the Dean’s Committee of KEMU that, for the first time, the Program Director for both undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy programs will be the Principal, College of Physiotherapy.

This approval marks a significant step towards strengthening the independent academic and administrative identity of Physiotherapy program as a well-recognized discipline.

This milestone will help ensure that decisions related to Physiotherapy programs are made under the leadership of the concerned department, keeping in view the academic standards, professional needs, and future development of the profession.

This is indeed a positive achievement for the department and will further support better coordination, accountability, and academic governance for both undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy programs.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Abrar Ashraf, Dean Allied Health Sciences, the Registrar KEMU, Prof. Dr Asghar Naqi and the Vice Chancellor KEMU, Prof. Dr Mahmood Ayaz for their support, guidance, and approval in strengthening Physiotherapy education at KEMU.

A memorable and heartwarming reunion at the College of Physiotherapy as distinguished Alumni and former Faculty members visited their alma mater.

The occasion was graced by former HOD, Dr. Saleha Saleem Bukhari, along with esteemed senior alumni Dr. Shazia Rafique, Dr. Shumaila Ehsan, and Dr. Sobia Zia. Their visit brought back cherished memories and reflected their enduring connection with the institution.

HOD & Principal, Dr. Nighat Ansar , warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and congratulated them on the formation of the College of Physiotherapy. As a gesture of respect and goodwill, bouquets were presented to Dr. Saleha Saleem Bukhari and the worthy guests.

The gathering provided an opportunity to share experiences, reconnect with colleagues, and celebrate the growth and achievements of the college. Faculty members Dr. Junaid Ijaz, Dr. Irfan Ali, Dr. Amna Zia, and Dr. Saira Irshad joined the occasion, making it a delightful celebration of legacy, achievement, and institutional pride.
