On 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 2025, interviews were successfully conducted for the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐆𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞.

The interview panel was honored to have 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 (Roll of Honour) and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐥 as interviewers, who engaged with the candidates and evaluated their passion, ideas, and vision.

The session was an inspiring display of enthusiasm from the students of GC University, reflecting their dedication towards integrity, growth, and positive character development.

The Character Building Society (CBS) of GC University Lahore recently organized an insightful webinar titled “Research Methodology in Islamic Studies: Navigating a Researchable Topic.” This event took place on Saturday, September 21, and featured Dr. Shuaibu Umar Gokaru as the distinguished guest speaker. Dr. Gokaru, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Islamic History and Civilization, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, discussed crucial aspects of research methodologies specific to Islamic studies, with a particular focus on how to select and refine researchable topics.

The webinar was organized by Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Naeem, PhD Coordinator, Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, GC University Lahore. The interactive session provided participants with practical guidance on framing their research questions and identifying gaps in existing scholarship. It was an invaluable opportunity for students and researchers to deepen their understanding of effective research practices.

The event was held online via Zoom, with participants joining from multiple regions. It was scheduled to accommodate various time zones, including Malaysia Standard Time (6:00 PM), Pakistan Standard Time (3:00 PM), and Nigeria Standard Time (11:00 AM)
The success of the event was a testament to the leadership and dedication of the Character Building Society under the presidency of Amir Taimoor Ahmad Malik.
