E-Rozgaar Center IER The e-Rozgaar training program aims to provide training to the youth in freelancing. Through this initiative youth will be earning sustainable income.

Primarily this initiative by Government of the Punjab facilitated the youth in earning sustainable income through online means. Government of the Punjab through Punjab Information Technology Board (PTIB) and Youth Affairs and Sports Department in collaboration with Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab established a lab at the institute on November 13, 2017. Currently the e

-Rozgaar Center is established at Institute of Education and Research as part of this institute. The e-Rozgaar Center is offering eleven certificate courses for the students of University of the Punjab as well as students from other universities and colleges. It provides training to budding freelancers and enhance their professional capabilities. One of the major objectives of this project is to provide training opportunities to youth for self-employment using internet-based freelancing.

I am deeply honored to share that I have joined as Dean, Faculty of Education, University of the Punjab, Lahore — the highest Academic position — appointed being the Highest in merit by the Honourable Chancellor of the Universities/Governor Punjab, Pakistan.

I express my sincere gratitude to the Honourable Chancellor and all esteemed worthy authorities involved in this transparent and merit-based process for their trust and confidence.
