Our brave Kashmiri brethren have stood tall against illegal occupation, generational trauma, and dehumanisation of their very existence for more than seven decades against all odds. The best tribute we, as Pakistanis, can pay to the Kashmiris' unwavering courage is to honour every drop of blood sacrificed in the face of Indian's state-backed persecution of the people of the illegally occupied valley.
On this Kashmir Solidarity Day - and every other day of the year - we long for a free Kashmir; free of humiliation, free of bloodshed, free of illegal military siege!
