The cadets of Class XI, accompanied by faculty members, visited Tarbela Dam on 06 Jun 2026. The visit provided them with an excellent opportunity not only to learn about this national asset and its significance to Pakistan's economy and energy sector, but also to enjoy a refreshing break from their rigorous academic routine. After spending a memorable and enjoyable day exploring various viewpoints and attractions around the dam, the cadets returned safely to the campus with enhanced knowledge and pleasant memories.

Mr. Muhammad Arfan Miana, Member (Power), WAPDA, inaugurated the newly constructed overhead water tank at WAPDA Cadet College on 25 May 2026.With the inauguration of the overhead water tank, a longstanding issue of water supply at the college has been effectively resolved, ensuring a more reliable and adequate provision of water for the cadets and staff.
The project was fully funded by WAPDA.The honourable Member appreciated the upkeep of the college and the efforts being made to make it a leading cadet college. He also assured WAPDA’s full support for future improvements.

On 21 May 2026, Marka-e-Haq was celebrated at WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela, where Brigadier Zahid Gul, Station Commander Tarbela, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The Cadets presented stage performances, skits, milli naghmas, and a detailed presentation on the background of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and India’s false flag narrative regarding Operation Sindoor.

The Chief Guest highly appreciated the performances and efforts of the Cadets. He delivered a thought-provoking speech highlighting the vital role of the Armed Forces of Pakistan in safeguarding the homeland. He emphasized that the Cadets are the future torchbearers of this proud legacy and advised them to remain united in defending the motherland against any aggression.

The Tarbela region is blessed with beautiful hills, fresh mountain air, and breathtaking views of the vast reservoir. The peaceful and inspiring natural surroundings provide an ideal environment for the healthy physical, mental, and character development of young cadets. Early morning hiking activities in the surrounding hills help the boys develop confidence, discipline, endurance, and team spirit while enjoying the beauty of nature in a safe and positive atmosphere.
On 16 May 2026, the cadets of the Junior Houses, accompanied by faculty members, participated in an early morning hiking trip to the nearby hills of Tarbela. The activity gave the boys an excellent opportunity to interact with one another, strengthen friendships, and enjoy healthy outdoor exercise together. Surrounded by cool breezes and scenic views, the cadets spent three refreshing and enjoyable hours in the open environment before returning safely to the campus with cheerful memories and renewed energy.

A dinner followed by a social night was arranged for the junior cadets of Sir Syed and Haider Houses on 15 May 2026 in a warm and cheerful environment. The event provided the young cadets with a pleasant opportunity to relax, interact with one another, and enjoy healthy entertainment after their busy academic and training routine.
The cadets participated enthusiastically in skits, songs, and cultural performances, reflecting their confidence, creativity, and team spirit. The evening remained lively and enjoyable, with the boys displaying disciplined conduct throughout the program.
Such dinner and social nights are a regular feature of the college calendar for every house, providing cadets with a refreshing break from routine while encouraging friendship, confidence, and positive personality development in a safe and supportive environment.

On 8 May 2026, an awareness session was held for the cadets of Junior Houses(class VIII). Dr. Waqas Khan Medical Officer of WAPDA Hospital Tarbela delivered an informative lecture on the topics of personal hygiene, stress management, mental health, and first aid.
The session proved highly beneficial for the cadets, as it created awareness regarding healthy living habits, emotional well-being, and emergency care. At the end of the session, a question-and-answer session was held in which the cadets participated actively and asked various questions related to the topics discussed.

On 07 May 2026, the Art and Calligraphy Club of WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela (WCCT) organized an inter-house competition among Junior Houses. Cadets participated in Calligraphy, Sketching, and Drawing. Prior to the event, special classes were conducted by the concerned faculty members to guide the participants. After a tough competition, the judges selected the top three cadets in each category, and certificates were awarded to the winners

On 06 May 2026, the cadets of Class XI organized a farewell in the honor of the outgoing cadets of Class XII. The event featured stage performances and heartfelt speeches, where junior cadets expressed that they would always cherish the memorable moments spent with their seniors at the campus. At the end of the event, an open-air dinner was served for the outgoing Class XII cadets. College faculty also joined the hosts in biding farewell to the outgoing Cadets.

On 03 May 2026, cadets of all classes watched the final match of the PSL in the open air at WCCT. They enjoyed the match along with the faculty. It was a healthy break from the routine, helping the cadets relax after a busy week.
