ایک ہوں مسلم حرم کی پاسبانی کے لیے
نِیل کے ساحل سے لے کر تا بخاکِ کاشغر
شرح:
یہ امر ناگزیر ہے کہ حرم اور دین کا تحفظ اسی صورت میں ممکن ہو سکتا ہے کہ دریائے نیل کے ساحل سے لے کر کاشغر تک مسلمان متحد ہو کر صف آرا ہوں یعنی افریقہ سے لے کر ترکی تک مسلمان اپنے تمام اختلاف بھلا کر ایک ہو جائیں اسی اتحاد میں ملت اسلامیہ کی نجات ہے ۔اقبال اس شعر کے ذریعے امتِ مسلمہ کو یہ پیغام دے رہے ہیں کہ اگر وہ دنیا میں عزت، بقا اور اثر چاہتے ہیں تو انہیں ایک جسم، ایک دل، اور ایک مقصد کے تحت متحد ہونا ہوگا، اور وہ مقصد ہے اسلام اور اس کے مرکز حرم کی حفاظت۔حرم یعنی خانۂ کعبہ صرف ایک مقام نہیں بلکہ اسلامی وحدت، روحانیت اور مرکزیت کی علامت ہے۔
