آج مورخہ 5 مئی کو گورنمنٹ بوائز ہائی اسکول سرمک میں مارکۂ حق کے سلسلے میں ایک پروقار اور بامقصد تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ اس تقریب میں ڈی ڈی او شپ کے تحت آنے والے تمام اسکولز نے شرکت کی، جس سے باہمی تعاون، نظم و ضبط اور اتحاد کی بہترین مثال دیکھنے کو ملی۔
تقریب کا آغاز ایک منظم اور خوبصورت انداز میں کیا گیا۔ سینئر طلبہ نے اسکول کے داخلی دروازے پر کھڑے ہو کر آنے والے مڈل اور پرائمری طلبہ کا پرتپاک استقبال کیا، جس سے مہمان نوازی اور احترام کا جذبہ واضح نظر آیا۔ اس کے بعد تمام طلبہ کو ہال میں بٹھایا گیا جہاں مکمل نظم و ضبط کے ساتھ پروگرام کا باقاعدہ آغاز اللہ تعالیٰ کے بابرکت نام سے کیا گیا۔
پروگرام میں سب سے پہلے ایک خوبصورت اور دل کو چھو لینے والی نعت پیش کی گئی، جس نے روحانی ماحول پیدا کیا۔ اس کے بعد طلبہ نے قومی نغمہ پیش کیا جس نے پورے ہال کو حب الوطنی کے جذبے سے سرشار کر دیا۔ طلبہ کی آواز، انداز اور اعتماد قابلِ تعریف تھا، جس سے ان کی محنت اور اساتذہ کی رہنمائی واضح نظر آئی۔
تقریب کے اہم حصے میں ڈی ڈی او کے نمائندے سید مبارک شاہ نے خطاب کیا۔ انہوں نے مارکۂ حق کی تاریخی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالی اور بتایا کہ یہ دن ہمیں اپنی بہادر افواج کی قربانیوں، جدوجہد اور وطن کے دفاع کے لیے دی جانے والی خدمات کو یاد دلانے کا موقع فراہم کرتا ہے۔ انہوں نے طلبہ کو نصیحت کی کہ وہ اپنے ملک سے محبت کریں، ذمہ دار شہری بنیں اور تعلیم کے ذریعے ملک کی ترقی میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔
یہ تقریب نہ صرف ایک تعلیمی سرگرمی تھی بلکہ ایک تربیتی موقع بھی ثابت ہوئی، جس نے طلبہ میں حب الوطنی، نظم و ضبط، اور قومی تاریخ سے آگاہی کو فروغ دیا۔ اس طرح کی تقریبات طلبہ کی کردار سازی میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہیں اور ان میں اپنے ملک اور اس کی حفاظت کرنے والوں کے لیے احترام کا جذبہ پیدا کرتی ہیں۔

Electronic configuration

At the end of the lesson, I divided the class into six groups to promote active participation and collaborative learning. I gave clear instructions and demonstrated how to perform both activities, which helped students understand their roles and tasks easily.
During Activity 1 (Shell Drawing Practice), most students were able to draw shells and correctly place electrons. This activity proved very effective in helping students visualize abstract concepts like electronic configuration. It also reinforced the 2, 8, 18 rule in a practical way. A few students initially faced difficulty, but peer support within groups helped them improve.
In Activity 2 (Electron Card Game), students were highly motivated and engaged. The competitive element encouraged them to think quickly and work together. Each group member contributed ideas, which improved their confidence, communication skills, and teamwork. This activity also enhanced their accuracy and speed in writing electronic configurations.

*Reflection on Multimedia Class (Atomic Structure)*

In today’s class, I took all the students to the LMS room where I used multimedia to visualize the structure of the atom. I explained the history of atomic theory and highlighted the contributions of scientists such as J. J. Thomson, Ernest Rutherford, and James Chadwick.
I also discussed the timeline of discoveries of the electron, proton, and neutron, which helped students understand how scientific knowledge developed over time. The concept of the plum pudding model was presented visually, making it easier for students to imagine how early scientists described the structure of the atom.
The use of multimedia made the lesson very interesting and engaging. Students showed great curiosity and learned the concepts in an enjoyable way. Visual representation helped them understand complex ideas more clearly.
Overall, it was an effective and interactive class, and students gained a better understanding of atomic structure through this modern teaching method.

*Demonstration of Suspension* (Muddy Water)
To explain a suspension, I took a transparent glass and filled it with clean water. Then, I added some soil (mud) into the water and stirred it well with a spoon.
After mixing, the water became cloudy, and the particles of mud were clearly visible. When I left the glass undisturbed for a few minutes, the mud particles slowly settled down at the bottom of the glass.
This shows that the particles do not dissolve in water and can be seen with the naked eye. The mixture is not uniform throughout.
Conclusion
This mixture is called a suspension because it is a heterogeneous mixture in which insoluble particles are dispersed in a liquid and settle down on standing.

Topic: Word Processor (MS Word)

First, I explained that a word processor is a software used to create, edit, format, and print documents. I introduced Microsoft Word as a commonly used word processing program.
Definition
A word processor is a computer program that helps us write text, make changes, and format documents neatly.
Practical Demonstration in Computer Lab
After explaining, I took the students to the computer lab and opened Microsoft Word on the computer.
I demonstrated the following basic commands from different groups (tabs):
Home tab: changing font size, style, bold, italic, underline
Paragraph group: alignment (left, center, right), line spacing
Insert tab: inserting pictures or shapes
File tab: saving the document
Students carefully observed how to use these tools.
Student Activity
After the demonstration, students were asked to open Microsoft Word and write a short paragraph (3–5 lines).
They were instructed to use different commands, such as:
Change font style and size
Apply bold or italic
Align text (center or justify)
Conclusion
Through this activity, students learned how to use a word processor and gained hands-on experience in creating and formatting a simple document.

استاد کی تھکن: وہ دکھ جو سلیبس میں شامل نہیں

کلاس روم میں کھڑا ایک استاد… سامنے قطار میں بیٹھے درجنوں بچے… کچھ توجہ سے سن رہے، کچھ کھوئے ہوئے، کچھ اُونگھ رہے اور کچھ ایک دوسرے سے الجھ رہے۔ مگر اس تمام منظر میں ایک چیز چھپی ہوتی ہے — استاد کی تھکن۔ وہ تھکن جو نظر نہیں آتی، محسوس نہیں کی جاتی، اور نہ ہی کسی اسکیم آف اسٹڈیز یا تعلیمی پالیسی میں لکھی ہوتی ہے۔
یہ تھکن صرف جسمانی نہیں، بلکہ جذباتی اور ذہنی بھی ہوتی ہے۔ روزانہ صبح وقت پر اسکول پہنچنا، درجنوں بچوں کی ذہنی سطح، مسائل اور رویوں کو سمجھنا، ان سب کو ایک لڑی میں پرو کر انہیں آگے بڑھانے کی کوشش کرنا — اور ساتھ ہی ساتھ وقت پر سبق مکمل کرنا، نتائج دینا، ریکارڈز رکھنا، والدین کے سوالوں کا جواب دینا، اور سینئرز کی جائز و ناجائز توقعات پوری کرنا… یہ سب ایک استاد کو اندر ہی اندر گھلا دیتا ہے۔
کبھی ایسا بھی ہوتا ہے کہ استاد خود بے چین ہوتا ہے، اس کے اپنے گھر کے مسائل، اس کی صحت، اس کے بچوں کی پڑھائی، اس کے والدین کی دوا — مگر وہ پھر بھی مسکرا کر بچوں کے سامنے آتا ہے کیونکہ وہ جانتا ہے کہ بچوں کی امیدیں اُس کی آنکھوں سے جڑی ہیں۔ مگر ہم میں سے کتنے لوگ یہ جانتے ہیں کہ وہ جو صبح سویرے چائے پی کر نکلتا ہے، وہ صرف اپنی تنخواہ کے لیے نہیں، بلکہ ایک نسل کو سنوارنے کے لیے جا رہا ہوتا ہے؟
تھکن اس وقت بھی ہوتی ہے جب آپ پڑھاتے رہیں اور طالب علم کا ردعمل صفر ہو۔ جب کلاس میں موجود چالیس بچوں میں صرف پانچ ہی آپ کی بات سننے کو تیار ہوں۔ جب آپ تخلیقی سرگرمی کروانا چاہیں مگر سہولیات نہ ہوں۔ جب آپ تربیت سے کچھ نیا سیکھ کر آئیں مگر اسکول کا ماحول اتنا جامد ہو کہ کچھ نیا آزمانے کی اجازت ہی نہ ہو۔ ایسی تھکن صرف کندھوں یا پیروں میں نہیں اُترتی — یہ دل پر بوجھ ڈالتی ہے، اور آہستہ آہستہ جذبے کو کھا جاتی ہے۔
مگر سچ تو یہ ہے کہ استاد کی یہ تھکن بولتی نہیں۔ وہ خاموشی سے کام کرتا رہتا ہے، اس امید کے ساتھ کہ شاید ایک دن، کسی بچے کی کامیابی اس کی ساری تھکن کا مداوا بن جائے۔ شاید کسی والدین کی ایک دعائیہ نظر، یا کسی طالب علم کا شکریہ — اس کے دل کو تازہ کر دے۔ لیکن کیا یہ کافی ہے؟
ہمیں یہ سیکھنا ہو گا کہ استاد کو صرف "تنخواہ کے بدلے خدمات دینے والا" نہ سمجھا جائے، بلکہ اسے ایک زندہ انسان سمجھا جائے — جو تھکتا بھی ہے، لڑکھڑاتا بھی ہے، اور کبھی کبھی صرف سننے، سمجھنے اور سہارا دینے کی ضرورت محسوس کرتا ہے۔
اگر ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ استاد آنے والی نسلوں کو پر اعتماد، باکردار اور بیدار ذہنوں میں ڈھالے — تو ہمیں پہلے اُس کے تھکے ہوئے وجود کو آرام دینا سیکھنا ہوگا۔ اس کی سننا، اس کا ساتھ دینا، اور اس کے لیے بھی وقت نکالنا ہوگا۔
کیونکہ استاد کا جذبہ اگر بجھ گیا، تو چراغ کسی اور کا بھی روشن نہیں رہ سکے گا۔
