After years of education and qualifications, a Research Assistant is often offered daily wages as low as PKR 750, roughly PKR 16,500 per month. This is less than what many unskilled daily-wage laborers earn. This is not about one institution it reflects a systemic issue across our higher education sector, where qualified researchers are undervalued and underpaid. If we expect quality research and academic progress, fair compensation must become a priority.

Alhumdulilah..Excited to share my latest research on the importance of integrating Green Corporate Social Responsibility (GCSR), Environmental Strategy (ES), and Green Innovation (GI) to drive Corporate Sustainable Development (CSD) in the digital age!
This study investigates how these elements, along with Digital Transformation (DT) and Employee Green Performance (EGP), can reshape organizational sustainability practices. The findings highlight the crucial role of GCSR in boosting CSD and ES, and the vital mediating effects of GIS and GI in amplifying these relationships.
A big thank you to the 418 managers across Pakistan’s manufacturing sector who participated and made this study possible!
Hope this research encourages more organizations to adopt sustainability practices and make a positive impact on our planet.

Happy New Year 🎊🎉

This image says it all.
You can blast something at 900°F for 1 hour and hope for quick results… or you can slow-cook at 300°F for 3 hours and create something truly valuable. In our work, whether it's building teams, teaching students, shaping brand strategy, or driving AI transformation, the same principle applies: Rushing the process burns outcomes. Consistency, patience, and thoughtful pacing build excellence.
As we head into new year, here’s a simple reflection:
1. Are we optimising for speed or for quality?
2. Are we designing processes that allow people (and ideas) to develop?
3. Are we measuring success by how fast we finish or how well we deliver?

The rising summer temperatures, sudden sandstorms, and clouds appearing without rain are not just coincidences they are clear signs of climate change. As shown in this map, countries across South Asia are experiencing alarming increases in temperature: 12% in Pakistan, 13% in Afghanistan, and 10% in India. These changes are pushing our region toward dangerous environmental extremes. While we continue to fight over politics and personal interests, we are ignoring the very issues that our lives and the lives of future generations depend on. It’s time to wake up and take climate change seriously. We must plant more trees, shift to clean energy sources, and take collective action to protect our planet before it’s too late.
