To all my undergraduate students:
Soon you will be graduating and starting careers. This is the best time for you to work on your professional profiles. You need to perform following 3 activities in order to kick start your career with promising future
1) Acquire soft skills relevant to your field (watch YouTube tutorials). Also you need command over MS Office and you should be able to troubleshoot minor problems by yourselves.
2) Set up your LinkedIn account and start following multinational industries and adding influential professionals. You must interact with them on their posts to make your presence known on daily basis. Also put efforts on your profile by sharing valuable posts related to your preferred profession. Dont forget to use hashtags.
3) Finally, earn online certificates from online platforms like Coursera, edX, Udemy etc
