Event: Defence Day Celebration
Venue: GGSS Ishat ul Quran GGSS

Defence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at our school The purpose of the event was to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the defence and security of Pakistan and to create awareness among students about patriotism, courage, unity, and national responsibility.

Program Activities

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat. The National Anthem was then presented, and all students and teachers participated respectfully.

The school administration welcomed the students and guests and highlighted the importance of Defence Day. Students delivered speeches in Urdu and English about the sacrifices and bravery of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

Students also presented national songs, patriotic poems, and tableaux depicting the courage and sacrifices of Pakistani soldiers. A special presentation highlighted the events of 6th September 1965 and the spirit of national unity shown by the people of Pakistan.

اشاعت القرآن، ناظم آباد میں نہایت عقیدت و احترام اور مذہبی جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ جشنِ میلاد النبی ﷺ کی بابرکت تقریب منعقد ہوئی۔ تقریب کا مقصد طالبات میں محبتِ رسول ﷺ کو اجاگر کرنا اور آپ ﷺ کی سیرتِ طیبہ سے رہنمائی حاصل کرنے کا جذبہ پیدا کرنا تھا۔

تقریب کا آغاز حمدِ باری تعالیٰ اور تلاوتِ قرآنِ پاک سے ہوا۔ وسیم صاحب نے اپنی خوبصورت آواز میں تلاوتِ قرآنِ پاک کی سعادت حاصل کی۔

اس کے بعد سر اشرف نے سیرت النبی ﷺ کے موضوع پر پُراثر بیان کیا اور حضور اکرم ﷺ کی مبارک زندگی، اعلیٰ اخلاق اور خوبصورت تعلیمات پر روشنی ڈالی۔

بعد ازاں کلاس نہم کی فاطمہ نے عقیدت و محبت کے ساتھ نعتِ رسولِ مقبول ﷺ پیش کی۔ اس کے بعد مس فاطمہ نے سیرتِ طیبہ کے موضوع پر بامقصد بیان کیا۔

پھر عرفہ گل نے خوبصورت انداز میں نعتِ رسولِ مقبول ﷺ پیش کی۔ مس نزہت نے سیرتِ النبی ﷺ کے حوالے سے پُراثر بیان اور اشعار پیش کیے۔ اس کے بعد سمیعہ نے نعتِ رسول ﷺ پیش کی۔

مس مہک نے بھی نہایت خوبصورت نعتِ رسولِ مقبول ﷺ پیش کی۔ اس کے بعد سمیعہ نے نعت پیش کی۔

تقریب میں طالبات کی دلچسپی بڑھانے اور ان کے دینی علم میں اضافے کے لیے کوئز مقابلہ بھی منعقد کیا گیا، جس میں سیرتِ النبی ﷺ اور اسلامی معلومات سے متعلق سوالات کیے گئے۔

بعد ازاں مس مصباح نے پُراثر بیان کیا۔ اس کے بعد مس ثمر اور مس رابعہ نے بھی نہایت خوبصورت اور عقیدت سے بھرپور نعتِ رسولِ مقبول ﷺ پیش کی۔ پھر مس قرۃ العین اور مس فریحہ نے بھی نعتِ رسول ﷺ پیش کر کے محفل کو مزید پُرنور بنا دیا۔

آخر میں کلاس نہم کی زینب نے خوبصورت نعت پیش کی، جس کے بعد سلام پیش کیا گیا۔

تقریب کے اختتامی مرحلے میں مس مصباح نے درس و بیان کیا اور سیرتِ رسول ﷺ پر عمل کرنے کی تلقین کی۔ آخر میں مس مصباح نے دعا کروائی۔

یہ بابرکت محفل نہایت پُروقار اور روحانی ماحول میں اختتام پذیر ہوئی۔ اس تقریب نے تمام شرکاء کے دلوں میں عشقِ رسول ﷺ اور آپ ﷺ کی تعلیمات پر عمل کرنے کا جذبہ مزید اجاگر کیا۔

A Fire Safety & Emergency Response Activity was conducted at GGSS Ishaat-ul-Quran, Nazimabad on 4th September 2026 in compliance with the instructions of Syed Nawaz Ali Shah Jilani, DEO Central Karachi.

The activity was organized to create awareness among students about fire safety, emergency response, evacuation procedures, and preventive measures. The students were first given a detailed briefing on how to remain calm and safely escape in case of a fire emergency. They were also guided about safe evacuation routes and the importance of following instructions during an emergency.

Following the awareness session, a role-play and practical demonstration was conducted in the school. Students actively participated in the simulated emergency situation and practiced appropriate responses to a fire incident.

Practical Activities Conducted:

- Awareness briefing on fire safety and emergency evacuation
- Role-play of a fire emergency situation
- Stay Low and Crawl during a smoke-filled situation
- Stop, Drop and Roll
- Practical demonstration of fire extinguisher use
- Get Out and Stay Out — leaving the affected area safely
- Calling 16 / 1122 for emergency assistance
- Smoke Alarm Awareness
- Guidance on remaining calm and following safety instructions

The activity was conducted under the supervision of Miss Iffat Zehra and Sir Muhammad Ashraf. The event was successfully completed with active participation and cooperation from the students and staff.

Subject: Report Regarding Visit of Ma’am Sabha Wasim and Participation in Plantation Drive

Ma’am Sabha Wasim visited GGSS ISHAT-UL-QURAN NAZIMABAD on 28 August 2026. During her visit, she reviewed the overall academic environment, administrative arrangements, and ongoing activities of the school. She also interacted with the teaching staff and students.

As part of the Plantation Drive, Ma’am Sabha Wasim actively participated in the plantation activity and personally planted a sapling at the school premises. Her active involvement conveyed an important message about environmental responsibility and the importance of maintaining a clean and green school environment.

The activity was carried out successfully with the cooperation of the school administration, teachers, and students. Ma’am Sabha Wasim’s participation was highly appreciated and served as an encouragement for students and staff to take greater responsibility towards environmental protection and plantation.

Medicinal uses of herbs and sherbs:
A session on the medicinal uses of Neem, Falsa and Aloe Vera was conducted by Miss Misbah. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the health benefits and traditional uses of these useful plants.
Miss Misbah explained the medicinal importance of Neem, which has traditionally been used for skin care,pesticides and insecticides. She also discussed Falsa, a nutritious fruit that is commonly used in refreshing drinks and is valued for its nutrients and antioxidants. The benefits and common uses of Aloe Vera were also explained, especially its traditional use for skin care and soothing minor skin irritation.Uses of kitchen spices were also explained by the teacher.
The session was informative and engaging. Students learned how plants can provide useful natural products and why they should be protected and used responsibly. The session successfully increased students’ knowledge about the medicinal value of plants and their importance in our daily lives.

Ishat-ul-Quran GGSS organized an activity to prepare organic fertilizer using easily available kitchen waste. The main purpose of this activity was to reduce waste, recycle useful organic materials, and produce a natural fertilizer for plants.

Benefits
This organic fertilizer contains useful nutrients that can improve soil fertility and support healthy plant growth. Eggshells provide calcium, while fruit and vegetable wastes add organic matters and other nutrients.

The activity at Ishat-ul-Quran GGSS was an educational and environmentally friendly initiative. It showed that everyday kitchen waste can be converted into useful organic fertilizer instead of being thrown away.

The 79th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and national pride at GGSS Ishatulquran under the supervision and guidance of our respected ,in charge H.M sir Ashraf and madam Iffat zehra.

The celebration was filled with vibrant and inspiring activities, including patriotic songs, thought-provoking speeches, colourful tableaus, quiz and live poster competition ,and enthusiastic national slogans. The students participated wholeheartedly and beautifully expressed their love, devotion, and respect for our beloved homeland, Pakistan

The celebration concluded with heartfelt prayers for the peace, progress, prosperity, and stability of Pakistan. In the final and most memorable moment, all participants stood together with immense pride and recited the National Anthem, paying a respectful tribute to our beloved homeland.
