Students of Mechanical Engineering Department and ASME NHU Student Chapter visited Karachi Shipyard and Engineering works KSEW, along with Chairman of Department Dr. Khursheed Mahmood and faculty members Engr. Bilal Siddiqui, Engr. Waseem Ahmed, Engr. Saqib Munawwar, Engr. Ali Syed and Department Coordinator Sir Najeeb Ahmed.
Students got a good exposure of Ship building and maintenance and project management which is also an elective final semester course.
We offer thanks to our faculty chairman, teachers and coordinator for this industrial visit and hope for more industrial visits.

Pakistan recently tested a A multiple independently target-able reentry vehicle (MIRV) capable missile, Missile is named as Ababeel-I range 2200 KM. Why it is named ?? Because as mention in , was a bird who protected the by throwing fragments of stone over the army of enemies. , Same happen in MIRV technology that a single warhead is separated in many warheads and can be used to target multiple cities using single missile.

A vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft is one that can hover, take off, and land vertically. This classification includes fixed-wing aircraft as well as helicopters and other aircraft with powered rotors, such as cyclogyros/cyclocopters and tiltrotors.[1] Some VTOL aircraft can operate in other modes as well, such as CTOL (conventional take-off and landing), STOL (short take-off and landing), and/or STOVL (short take-off and vertical landing). Others, such as some helicopters, can only operate by VTOL, due to the aircraft lacking landing gear that can handle horizontal motion. VTOL is a subset of V/STOL (vertical and/or short take-off and landing).
