After 9 years of trying to build a blog and giving up every time, I finally did it β properly this time.
I just launched CodeAndHustle, where I'm sharing my real journey into freelancing and web development as a software engineering student. Not a "success guru" blog β just honest posts about what actually works, what doesn't, and the mistakes along the way.
The first post talks about the long stretch where I couldn't land a single client, and how a real project for a community organization (TCB) finally became my proof that I could deliver.
If you know a student or beginner freelancer trying to figure things out, feel free to share this with them β it might help.

π Your LinkedIn profile is your 24/7 digital storefront. But most developers and marketers treat it like a static CV. β
π― A few days ago, I looked at my profile and realized the visuals didn't match the quality of work I deliver. As a Frontend Developer and Digital Marketer, my profile needed to reflect bothβclean structure and solid branding.
π¨ So, I spent some time redesigning my complete identity from scratch.
π The Transformation:
β
Before: Standard, generic, and hidden in the noise.
β
After: Premium Burgundy/Gold theme, high-converting layout, and zero clutter.
β
Your profile layout, color psychology, and clear headlines can change how clients and recruiters perceive your value within the first 3 seconds of landing on your page.
π οΈ Want to know the exact step-by-step framework I used to design this premium layout and optimize the elements?

Job + University + Coding β 3 Things at Once π€
Honestly, it's not easy.
Every morning I wake up and think:
π Office has to go
π University assignments pending
π» Still have to code today
But I made a simple rule for myself:
No matter what β at least 30 minutes of coding every day.
π΄Even if I'm tired.
π΄Even if I don't feel like it.
π΄Even if it's 12 AM.
Because I know β
The people who stay consistent when it's hard,
are the ones who win when it gets easy. π
Proud to be a student at Iqra University - IU & Aptech while working full time at Pak-Qatar Group πͺ

From a Simple Portfolio to a Full eCommerce Website π
6 months ago, I built my first project β a basic portfolio website using just HTML & CSS.
Today, I completed a fully responsive eCommerce frontend with:
β
Hero section & product categories
β
Product listing with filtering
β
Interactive product details page
β
Clean, maintainable code structure
The difference? Consistency. Every single day I wrote code, even when I didn't feel like it.
If you're a beginner β start small. Your first project doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to exist.

π¨ 90% of students are wasting their best years.
Most students spend 4 years chasing a degreeβ¦
and graduate with:
β No real skills
β No experience
β No portfolio
β No LinkedIn presence
Meanwhile, smart students are building:
β
In-demand skills
β
Real-world projects
β
Freelancing income
β
Global opportunities
Iβm not saying degrees are useless.
But in 2026, a degree alone is NOT enough.
The smartest students are doing both: π Degree + π» Skills
Iβm personally focusing on building practical skills alongside my education because the world rewards results, not excuses.
