Construction of Schools in Sindh Affected Under Rain & Flood 2022-Psdp"

Coloring and beautification work is actively underway at Government Boys Primary School Wahid Bux Sarki, Taluka Thul (PS-3), District Jacobabad, under Package No. 15, Thul.

This initiative by the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh aims to provide students with a clean, colorful, and inspiring learning environment.

A meeting regarding budgetary follow-ups was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh.

The meeting focused on reviewing key budget-related matters and priority initiatives of the Department, including SNEs of upgraded schools, Science Festivals, School Health, Grants, School-Specific Budget (SSB), clustering and shifting of posts, Girls’ Stipend Programme, project-wise budget allocations for the forthcoming financial year, STREAM Labs and Model Schools, development expenditure, and Maintenance & Repair (M&R) updates.

Detailed discussions were held on the financial implications, implementation status, and future requirements of these initiatives to ensure their effective ex*****on and alignment with departmental objectives. The meeting also reviewed progress on ongoing interventions and deliberated on budgetary priorities for the next financial year.

The Secretary emphasized timely follow-up, enhanced coordination among concerned wings, and the preparation of comprehensive budget proposals in accordance with departmental priorities. He directed all relevant officers to ensure that updates, financial requirements, supporting justifications, and implementation plans are properly consolidated to facilitate informed decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and the timely achievement of departmental targets.

The Superintending Engineer Education Works Circle Mirpurkhas Mohammad Ali Gaho sahab ,Executive Engineer Education works Umerkot Vishal, Executive Engineer (Electrical) Riaz Ahmed Shaikh Along with Aens and contractor inspected following sites of PSDP to supervise the pace and quality of ongoing works.

During the visit, the following units were inspected:

1. GBPS Talib Gang Mohammad Arisar
2. GGLSS Alam Pali
3. GBLSS Rana jagir
4. GGLSS Chorre Old

The SE reviewed the progress and quality of the work being carried out at the above-mentioned sites. The concerned team was instructed to ensure timely completion of all works in accordance with the prescribed standards and within the stipulated deadline.
