Young Neuroscientists in Action

Grade 8th students to grade 6th..
Grade 8 students conducted an engaging science demonstration for Grade 6 students on the topic of the human brain. They explained the structure and functions of the brain in a simple and interactive way.
The presentation mainly focused on three important parts of the brain:
Forebrain (High Brain):
This is the largest part of the brain. It controls thinking, memory, decision-making, emotions, and voluntary actions. Students explained how it helps us learn, solve problems, and control our body movements.
Midbrain:
The midbrain acts as a connecting part between the forebrain and hindbrain. It controls reflex actions related to vision and hearing, such as blinking or turning the head toward a sound.
Hindbrain (Lower Brain):
This part controls basic life functions such as breathing, heartbeat, and balance. It includes the cerebellum, which helps in coordination and body movement.
The Grade 8 students used black board and chalk to make the concept easy to understand. Their demonstration was interactive, informative, and helped younger students learn about the brain in a fun and effective way.
