Journey to Brilliance (JTB) successfully concluded an intellectually engaging session, “The Great Trial of Education System: Beyond Grades, Toward Greatness!”
We were honoured to host Dr. Hassan Abuhassna, Associate Professor of Education, University of Malaya, Malaysia. His insightful keynote on “Beyond the Screen: Designing Blended Learning Spaces that Spark Critical Thinking” sparked meaningful discussion on critical thinking, intellectual independence, active learning, and education in the age of AI.
The session raised a powerful question:
Are we educating students to think independently, or simply preparing them to conform successfully?
My sincere gratitude to Dr. Hassan, and our respected JTB Presiden Wajeeha Naween, the entire team, and all participating scholars for making this session meaningful and engaging.
At JTB, our purpose goes beyond organising events. We aim to groom scholars, broaden perspectives, and transform Knowledge into Leadership and Leadership into meaningful Impact.

MPhil scholars will be engaged in the following activities:
⚔️ Research Pitch Battles: Present your research ideas in a short, engaging pitch and receive constructive feedback to improve your work.
🎙️ The Knowledge Vodcast: Discuss day to day emerging societal issues, research findings and academic topics through conversations and podcasts to share knowledge with a wider audience.
🔥 The Hot Seat: Panel Discussions: Lead and participate in discussions with experienced researchers and experts to gain deeper insights and critical perspectives.
📝 Blueprint Labs: Turn research into practical frameworks, toolkits, and action plans that can solve real-world problems.

Under the JTB platform, BS students are building their foundational intellect and practical leadership through four core activities:
Flash Debates: Overcoming stage fright and mastering sharp, logical argumentation.
Impact Ideathons: Brainstorming and pitching creative, actionable solutions for real-world community challenges.
Reading Circles: Cultivating critical thinking by discussing influential books on history, philosophy, and society.
Leadership Bootcamps: Developing essential real-world skills like strategic negotiation, teamwork, and decision-making.

ہم ایک ایسی دنیا میں رہتے ہیں جہاں معلومات بہت ہیں، لیکن رہنمائی کم۔ روابط بہت ہیں، لیکن اعتماد کم۔ ڈگریاں بہت ہیں، لیکن مقصد کی وضاحت کم۔
یہ فکر اسی خلا کو پُر کرنے کی ایک کوشش ہے۔
