The Stockton and Darlington Railway opened in north-east England: the worldβs first public railway to use steam locomotives. Its engine, Locomotion, pulled wagons of coal and passengers to Darlington and on to Stockton.
π Why it matters for students
History: cross-checking sources is exactly what Champollion did with three scripts.
