Government Girls Secondary School DRIGH Colony 5 Karachi

We are proud to have secured the second position in the science functional model category at STEAM Muqablo 2025, an outstanding achievement that earned recognition across Sindh, with the exhibition being held at the Expo centre.

Our students with distinction marks were invited to receive rewards at an appreciation ceremony organized by Daughters of Islam to recognize students with distinct marks in the Matric Annual Examination.

All the students and Teachers gathered to celebrate “PLANTATION DAY IN RESPECT OF GREEN PAKISTAN"

This event aimed to support the vision of providing awareness to the students regarding importance of trees for a healthy and clean environment.

Students learned that planting even one tree can make a difference. Together we pledged to make Pakistan greener, cleaner and more beautiful for future generations.

Students in supervision of our two most senior teachers named Miss Yasmeen, Miss Riffat & Miss Shabana planted various saplings at school.

Achievements in the previous Academic Years.

MPA Sikander Khatoon honored our school, GGSS Drigh Colony 5 Karachi, with her presence to review academic achievements and recommend improvements. She appreciated HM Madam Shahana's proactive approach to administration.

Rola Hodeib serves as Global Director of Country Operations at Right to Play, a position she has held since 2007. Her experience spans various roles, including Acting Regional Director for MENA and Director MEA Programs. Before joining Right to Play, Rola spent a decade working with government and educational institutions. She also made a notable visit to GGSS Drigh Colony 5 Karachi with Mr. Ali Khayam, Mr. Atta Muhammad, and Ms. Maham Khan. Rola earned her MA in International Affairs from the Lebanese American University.
