Educational Visit of MSN Students from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences(LUMHS) to Dow Institute of Nursing & Midwifery(DIONM)

On Monday, July 14, 2025, students from the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program at Peoples Nursing School, Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, visited the Dow Institute of Nursing & Midwifery (DION&M), Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS). They were accompanied by faculty members Ms. Sheneela Sadruddin, Ms. Fatima Soomro, and Mr. Mairaj Hafeez. The purpose of the visit was to observe the academic and educational activities conducted at DION&M.

Prof. Dr. Tanseer Ahmed, Principal of DION&M-DUHS, warmly welcomed the visiting faculty and students, providing a brief introduction to the institute. Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob, Assistant Professor and Program Director of the MSN program, then gave an overview of the program and highlighted various academic initiatives undertaken at DION&M-DUHS.

The visiting students actively participated in the session and asked insightful questions in line with the objectives of their visit. The visit concluded with a guided tour of the institute.

Such educational visits play a vital role in fostering academic collaboration and strengthening inter-institutional ties.

آنکھوں میں خوشی کے ساتھ ساتھ ایک اداسی بھی تھی، کیونکہ اب وہ دن کبھی واپس نہیں آئیں گے، جب صبح سویرے یونیورسٹی جانا، دوستوں کے ساتھ بیٹھنا، اساتذہ کے لیکچر سننا، آخری لمحوں میں اسائنمنٹس مکمل کرنا اور جلدی جلدی پریزنٹیشنز دینا معمول تھا۔ 😢📚

وہ دن جب دوستوں کے ساتھ ہنسی مذاق، کبھی خاموش بیٹھنا، تو کبھی دل کی باتیں بانٹنا، سب کچھ ایک خوبصورت یاد بن گیا۔ 💫❤️

اساتذہ کی شفقت، ان کی رہنمائی اور محنتیں ہمیشہ دل سے دعائیں بن کر نکلیں گی۔ 🙏🎓

آج کے دن ہر لمحے کو دل سے محسوس کیا، تصویروں میں قید کیا، تاکہ جب زندگی کے کسی موڑ پر یاد آئیں تو چہرے پر مسکراہٹ آجائے۔ 😊📸

جب یونیورسٹی میں داخل ہوئے تھے تو معلوم نہ تھا کہ یہ جگہ، یہ لوگ، یہ لمحات اتنے قیمتی بن جائیں گے۔
اب رخصتی کا وقت آ گیا ہے، لیکن یہ راستے، یہ محفلیں، یہ دوستیاں ہمیشہ دل میں رہیں گی۔ 💔🌸

The faculty and students of DIONAM-DUHS gathered today in a peaceful protest to strongly condemn the recent Indian military actions against Pakistan.

Participants expressed firm solidarity with the people of Pakistan and reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Pakistan Armed Forces in their role of safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The gathering reflected the unity, patriotism, and resilience of the academic community in the face of external threats.
