It is to develop Educational Wall Map Geographic Books & Atlases to enlarge the vision of student community in particular in masses in general. It covers the different geographic aspects of Pakistan starting from the physical features to that of population, climate, agriculture, industry, communication, mineral, energy etc. Further, the Atlas also contains’ separate provincial maps up to district levels - year 2012. Each province like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its well marketed Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA), Balochistan, Punjab and Sindh are shown separately, highlighting the important locations on the maps. Accordingly the status of territorial region like Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir are well defined, shown with clarity. Neighboring territories are also well marked. Study of such knowledge-based presentations is highly desirable for the young learners to know and understand Pakistan at their infancy. The colorful presentation attracts’ the student community, to learn more effectively. Visiting places through maps is always helpful in developing the analytical thought process of the students. Educational authorities may consider adopting a policy on “Map Reading Atlas Culture” in their educational institutions to enrich students understanding not only on economic growth but how to boost the national economy and to understand matters of international affairs. Teaching students through atlases is a part of visual education. The managing committee of Geographic Society Pakistan is in favor, to enlarge the vision of students in particular and masses in general on the environmental aspects of Pakistan. Geographic information is important to our lives from perspective of daily news to that of determining future policies. Through knowledge of core Geographic Information System (GIS) concepts and Remote Sensing technology (RS) are dominating factor of Geographic Society. It is of prime significance to understand the resources, culture and global events concerning Pakistan.
