In the year 1956, we formed a Society with AIM "CRUSADE AGAINST ILLETRACY". Our Mission was/is "EDUCATION IS A SERVICE NOT BUSINESS". The schools of the Society remained open irrespective of Religion, Cast and Creed. During the year 1956-57 to 1971, We Established Three Boys and Four Girls Primary Schools in underdeveloped Areas of Karachi. The above said Schools were nationalized in 1971. We distributed Sweet Meat in all the Schools on the Eve of Nationalization because of the fact, these Schools were being run in deficit which was met by the management and the donors on the one hand and on the other hand it is the duty of the Government to Educate the Citizens. We provided financial assistance to various Educational
Institutions, constructed Two Schools and Donated to the Government. Prior to Nationalization, Nursery and KG Education System was introduced for the kids. In the year 1994, our management decided to introduce the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori which is globally recognized. As such we established LIGHT HOUSE MONTESSORI WORLD. We appointed Three AMI Directresses and Six Montessori Certified Teachers. LIGHT HOUSE MONTESSORI WORLD was registered with Pakistan Montessori Association, an authority on behalf of Association of Montessori International Netherland. Montessori system was highly appreciated by the parents and it flourished day by day. LIGHT HOUSE MONTESSORY WORLD has also been organizing BABY SHOWS to commemorate Universal Children's Day for thirteen years. In the Year 2004, Japanese Montessori Kids came in Pakistan and on the advice of Pakistan Montessori Association; Our LIGHT HOUSE MONTESSORI WORLD was selected for the visit along with their Trainers. They appreciated our ENVIRONMENTS, LIBRARY and courtesies. Gifts were presented by our kids and Directresses on the occasion. Our management now has decided to introduce ONLINE AND VIRTUAL Montessori Teachers Training for the candidates who prefer Distance Learning.
