Monitoring Visit to SZABIST ZABTech GPI Azam Basti

A monitoring visit was conducted at SZABIST ZABTech GPI Azam Basti by Mr. Muhammad Fazal, Micro Finance & Livelihood Specialist, and Mr. Muhammad Akhtar, Assistant Regional Manager.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the progress and implementation of training activities under the Sindh Integrated Health & Women Empowerment Project (SIHWEP) in collaboration with AKHUWAT Foundation

During the visit, the team engaged with management and trainees to discuss training delivery, attendance, learning progress, and overall program performance. They also reviewed operational arrangements and observed ongoing training sessions to evaluate alignment with project goals and quality standards.

𝐒𝐙𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐙𝐀𝐁𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 successfully organized a grand Orientation Session for the Thousand Days Project on 15th May, welcoming a large number of enthusiastic participants.

The session introduced students to the upcoming classes, training programs, trainers, offered courses, curriculum, discipline, rules & regulations, and code of conduct.

The interactive and informative session motivated students and reflected ZABTech’s commitment to providing quality skill development and a positive learning environment.

The WWF Pakistan team visited the SZABIST ZABTech Directorate to explore potential collaboration avenues in Water Stewardship & Replenishment under WWF’s Fresh Water Programme.

During the meeting, Ms. Waheeda Mahesar, Executive Director of ZABTech, briefed the team on ZABTech’s journey in the TVET sector, highlighting how their initiatives align with the organization’s mission and vision.

Subsequently, Ms. Mehak, Manager at WWF Pakistan, outlined possible collaboration avenues with SZABIST ZABTech, specifically focusing on benefiting the youth and local community at GPI Azam Basti, adopted by SZABIST ZABTech.
