JSMU Literary Society hosted a Panel Discussion “بزمِ افکار”, where our esteemed guests, Dr. Ambreen Haseeb Amber, Saleem Mughal Saheb and Prof. Usman emphasized the significance of literature and the impact of language in uniting cultures. They highlighted the importance of Urdu language in fostering the understanding and connection between different cultures and nation. Our guests also discussed about ‘the art of story telling’ for shaping the minds and personalities in young individuals. A truly insightful and enriching discussion!

The Day 1 commenced of ALL KARACHI INTER-UNIVERSITY BAIT BAZI COMPETITION ✨ in which sixteen teams from different universities of Karachi showcased their passion for poetry.

دیکھ دشتِ یاد کا اعجاز دیکھ
میں کہیں ہوں تُو کہیں ہے عشق ہے

پاکستان میں جہاں کہیں بھی جدید شاعری کی بات ہوتی ہے، وہاں ایک نمایاں حوالہ ضرور آتا ہے اور وہ ہیں شہرِ کراچی کی توانا آواز اور صاحبِ اسلوب شاعر توقیر تقی۔ ان کی شاعری روایت کی مضبوط زمینوں سے جنم لے کر جدت کی پگڈنڈیوں پر نئے امکانات تراشتی ہے۔ ان کا کلام فکری وسعت، تازہ لہجے اور تجرباتی جمالیات کا حسین امتزاج ہے۔ پنجاب کے مضافات ہوں یا سندھ کے ، شہرِ کراچی ہو یا دیگر شہر آپ کی آواز اور آپ کا شعر ہر جگہ سنا پڑھا جاتا ہے۔۔
توقیر تقی کے شعری مجموعے “ انالعشق” نے نہ صرف اردو ادب میں ان کے مقام کو مستحکم کیا بلکہ ان میں موجود موضوعات — جیسے انسانی رشتوں کی نزاکت، عصری الجھنیں، داخلی کرب اور امید کے نئے چراغ — قاری کے دل و دماغ کو جھنجھوڑا اور عشق کی لذت و چاشنی نے دل و دماغ کو سکون بخشا۔
ان کا نام آج کے شعری منظرنامے میں ایک معتبر حوالہ اور مستقبل کی شاعری کے لیے ایک روشن امکان سمجھا جاتا ہے۔

بنامِ ادب ۳۰o مشاعرہ “نقشِ خیال” کی محفل کو زینت بخشنے آرہے ہیں ۔
