A wonderful Sports Day at Community Based High School, Aliabad on 24th January 2026. The school was full of energy, smiles, and excitement as our students took part in different races and games. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. The cheerful participation of students, encouragement from teachers, and support from parents made the day truly memorable.

Mohammedi Girls School was turned into a playground of smiles! 🎉 Kids enjoyed thrilling games, creative crafts and lots of laughter, Seeing their faces light up was the best gift.

Students also celebrated the rich tapestry of cultures! From vibrant Sindhi dances to graceful Chinese performances, Punjabi beats, KPK poetry, Balochi drums, Gilgiti tunes, Chitrali folklore and even a taste of Egypt and Saudi Arabia – our students brought the world to our stage. 🎭👒

The 2 days fun gala filled mesmerizing performances, hilarious mimicry, delicious food stalls and budding entrepreneurs showcasing their talents. A huge shout out to all the participants, teachers and families for making it a memorable cultural extravaganza!

IYS Winter PD Sessions

The Winter Professional Development (PD) Sessions for all IYS teachers were successfully completed on December 30, 2025.
The Winter PD program was conducted in two parts:

Part I:
This session was organized for teachers of IYS Schools in the Karachi region. It commenced on December 22 and concluded on December 24, 2025.

Part II:
This session was held for teachers of IYS Schools in interior Sindh, including CBS Sujawal, CBS Alia (Hyderabad), and CBS Khyber.
The PD sessions focused on the following key areas:
1. Syllabus review for the final term
2. Item analysis
3. SLO unpacking, lesson planning, and presentations
4. Content enhancement
5. Sharing of assessment criteria
In addition to these academic components, the program also included a variety of engaging and fun activities for teachers

Pakistani Researcher, Dr. Rind Honored with Best Paper International Award at Global Social Sciences Congress

Karachi, December 7, 2025 — IYS is proud to announce that Dr. Iffat Sultana Rind has been awarded the prestigious Best Paper International Award at the 12th CEO Social Sciences Congress, a major global platform for academic and social sciences research.

This year’s congress brought together 306 leading researchers and scholars from more than 30 countries, yet only three papers worldwide were selected for the highest honor — making this recognition truly exceptional for Pakistan.

Dr. Rind’s award-winning research study, “A Qualitative Study for Examining the Role of SEL in Student Well-being in Primary Schools in Sindh,” explores the vital role of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in enhancing children’s emotional health, school adjustment, and overall developmental outcomes. Her work provides valuable insights for strengthening SEL practices within Pakistan’s education system and contributes meaningfully to global research discourse on student well-being.

This achievement represents a significant milestone for Pakistan, showcasing the country’s academic excellence and highlighting the growing impact of locally grounded educational research.
