National Skills Passport is being introduced in Pakistan with a pilot program. The purpose is to formally recognize the skills of workers, returning and migrant workers to help them with better work opportunities. Plumbers, electricians and cooks from Sindh are eligible for this NSP Pilot program and are encouraged to register on the website.

๐ก๐กThrowback to the first meeting of the NSP Steering Committee early in year 2023 โ Employersโ Federation of Pakistan (EFP) and its consultant organization had presented a framework for conducting a National Skills Passport (NSP) pilot in Sindh. This was through a prior technical consultation with International Labor Organization (ILO Pakistan and Sri Lanka). The first meeting of Steering Committee on-boarded different federal and provincial Ministry-stakeholders in Pakistan onto the big picture of running such a pilot.
