شریق ہوزنی کہتے ہیں: میں ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس گیا، اور ان سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب رات میں نیند سے جاگتے تو پہلے کیا کرتے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: تم نے مجھ سے ایسی بات پوچھی، جو تم سے پہلے کسی نے نہیں پوچھی ہے، آپ جب رات میں نیند سے جاگتے تو دس بار، «الله اكبر» کہتے، دس بار «الحمد الله» کہتے، دس بار «سبحان الله وبحمده» کہتے، دس بار«سبحان الملك القدوس» کہتے، اور دس بار «استغفر الله» کہتے، اور دس بار «لا إله إلا الله» کہتے، پھر دس بار «اللهم إني أعوذ بك من ضيق الدنيا وضيق يوم القيامة» اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں دنیا کی تنگی سے اور قیامت کے دن کی تنگی سے کہتے، پھر نماز شروع کرتے۔..!!

Allah Almighty, is so generous that even the simplest of our actions are met with great rewards.
Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Shariq al-Hawzani and I came to Aishah (Allah be pleased with her) and asked her: By which (prayer) the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم began when he woke up at night? She replied: You asked me about a thing which no one asked me before. When he woke up at night, he uttered: Allah is Most Great ten times, and uttered Praise be to Allah ten times, and said Glory be to Allah and I begin with His praise ten times, and said: Glory be to the King, the Most Holy ten times, and asked Allah's pardon ten times, and said: There is no god but Allah ten times, and then said: O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee from the strait of the Day of resurrection, ten times. He then began the prayer....!!

ہر روز جب ہم خبریں چیک کرنے کے لیے اپنا سوشل میڈیا کھولتے ہیں تو ہم فلسطینیوں کو یہ دعا پڑھتے ہوئے سنتے ہیں۔ ہم انہیں ایمان کے ساتھ اور اپنے پیارے رب سے معاوضے کی امید کے ساتھ تلاوت کرتے ہوئے سنتے ہیں۔ یہ دعا حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے اس وقت پڑھی جب وہ اپنی شریک حیات سے محروم ہو گئیں اور اللہ سُبْحَا نَہ وَتَعَالَی نے ان کو بالکل ناقابل تصور چیز یعنی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صحبت سے معاوضہ دیا۔ ایک ایسا اعزاز جسے ہر عورت اپنے سر پر تاج کی طرح پہنائے گی، اسے فخر اور فضل سے تھامے گی۔ اللہ سُبْحَا نَہ وَتَعَالَى نے سب سے برگزیدہ خاتون کو ایک اعزاز سے نوازا۔ اس سے ہمیں یہ احساس بھی ہوتا ہے کہ دعائیں کس قدر طاقتور اور حقیقی ہتھیار ہیں، اگر پوری ایمانداری اور عاجزی کے ساتھ کی جائیں۔ اللہ سُبْحَا نَہ وَتَعَالَى اسے یقین اور عاجزی کے ساتھ پڑھنے والوں کو جزائے خیر دے اور ان کے نقصانات کی تلافی اس طرح سے کرے جس کا انہوں نے کبھی تصور بھی نہ کیا ہو۔ آمین .
Every day when we open our social media to check the news, we hear Palestinians reciting this dua’a. We hear them recite it with faith and with a hope of compensation from their Loving Lord. This dua’a was recited by Hazrat Umme Salmah RA when she lost her spouse and Allah سُبْحَا نَہ وَتَعَالَى compensated her with something absolutely unimaginable, the companionship of Rasool Allah ﷺ. An honour that every woman would wear as a crown on her head, holding it with pride and grace. An honor Allah سُبْحَا نَہ وَتَعَالَى blessed the most chosen woman with. This also gives us a realization how dua’as are so powerful and true weapons, if made with utter faith and humility. May Allah سُبْحَا نَہ وَتَعَالَى bless those who recite it with conviction and humility and compensate them for their losses in ways they've never imagined. Ameen
