St.James School of Nursing

Nurses don't have the luxury to stay home. Because panic or not, the nurses will still be the ones showing up to work, the ones dealing with sweating through their shifts in their, the ones risking exposure to care for anyone who does experience complications.
They will be the ones calming patients who are genuinely fearful of what this virus can do to them, the ones watching when positive tests do come back, and the ones we will all turn to if the virus moves from something that is happening to other people and into something that affects us or our loved ones.

We are proud of our students, who are working voluntarily under the supervision of WHO tream at Jinnah International Airport Karachi to fight against COVID-19. May God protect and shelter these young souls.

Project-Based Research Seminar (Session 2017-2019) was prearranged by St. James School of Nursing and Health Sciences along with Jesus and Mary Institute of Nursing and Allied Sciences at Arts Council Karachi on 27th July 2019.
The students showcased and presented their Research Project of various topics. Some of most respectful and honorable leaders took part in the seminar as an attendees and observers.

Students of St. James School of Nursing participated at Asia's biggest confernce KARACHI YOUTH MODEL UNITED NATIONS (KYMUN VII) held from 28th June to 1st July 2018 at Movenpick Hotel Karachi. Here, our students learned how to debate and build self confidence with themselves. It was a good experience overall of students to interact with new people from different Schools and Colleges in the City. Some renowned personalities like Mubashir Luqman, Arif Alvi, Amir Liaqat, Jibran Nasir, Imran Ismail, Farooq Sattar and much more also joined the session for the motivation of participants.

A beautiful Welcome Party with lots of laughs, music and entertainment was organised by 3rd Semester BSCN students for the new 1st Semester BSCN students at St. James School of Nursing

Several students including 1st and 2nd Year students visited Karachi Slaughter House in the area of Bhains Colony. Here the students learned about how the specific place is provided to slaughter various animals. After that the meat is verified and supplies to different areas across the city.
